The wall version of Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance's 2015 Mediterranea keeps the collection's central idea intact: a single sheet of satin-brushed brass, punched and folded so it hangs like fabric. At 13.4 in wide and 5.9 in deep it works in a hallway, beside a bed or in a stairwell where a table lamp cannot go. Made in France for Petite Friture, glue-free so the parts separate at end of life.

324 lumens of warm white. That is atmospheric rather than functional — enough to wash a hallway or mark a bedside, not enough to read a book by on its own.

Where does it work best?
Anywhere the perforations have a surface to project onto. Mounted close to a wall or in a corner, the punched pattern reads clearly; in open space the effect is much softer.
