Metric Sideboard in Solid Walnut
Slim metal legs lift this walnut sideboard clear of the floor, which keeps a 68.9-inch case from reading as a block.
Solid walnut forms the case and the fronts, a close-grained hardwood that starts deep brown and lightens a shade with age, set on a metal base. It's part of our Tikamoon collection, made for a living room, a kitchen, or a dining room wall, and low enough at 29.5 inches to sit under a wall-mounted screen.

Common Questions
Can the Metric work as a TV stand?
Yes. At 29.5 inches tall and 68.9 inches wide it sits at a comfortable viewing height beneath a wall-mounted screen, and the top takes a soundbar along the front edge with room left over.
Is it deep enough for dinner plates?
At 17.9 inches deep the case takes dinner plates, serving dishes and folded table linens. Very large platters are better laid flat across the 68.9-inch width than stood up behind a door.
Will the Metric work in a bedroom instead?
It will. The 68.9-inch case takes folded clothes and bed linens, and at 29.5 inches tall it stays below most window sills. Allow 17.9 inches of depth off the wall for the case.
