Sonja Djønne and Thoralf Lian started Heymat in 2016 to make a doormat that works in Norway's wet weather and looks like it belongs in the home. Each mat is designed with leading designers and uses recycled PET.

Måne All Weather Doormat
The moon's slow, shifting presence in the sky, translated into angled relief and a dark graphite grey.
Norwegian duo Studio Sløyd designed Måne for Heymat, balancing softness against structure through gentle changes in depth and carefully cut angles. The 0.4 in pile is 100% recycled PET over an SBR rubber backing with 20% recycled content, rated for indoor and outdoor use; mats sold in the US are produced in the USA. It joins the all-weather side of the Heymat collection.

Common Questions
Can the Måne doormat be machine washed?
No. Like Heymat's other all-weather mats, Måne is vacuumed or shaken regularly, rinsed with water for a deeper clean, and spot-cleaned with mild detergent. The 140°F machine wash applies only to the indoor mats.
Will Måne hold up outdoors in winter?
Yes. It is rated for indoor and outdoor use: the 0.4 in recycled PET surface scrapes off grit and slush while the SBR rubber backing blocks moisture and keeps the mat planted.
