MOM Round Extension Table
A round top that grows by nearly twenty inches, with the leaf stored inside the table itself.
CondeHouse has built furniture at its Asahikawa factory in Hokkaido since 1968, and MOM uses a random-match veneer top selected to show grain variation the way solid wood does, edged and legged in solid hardwood. The leaf stows within the table, so setting up and putting away take moments, while the beveled edge and tapered legs keep the silhouette soft against most seating. How far does the MOM round table extend?
From 41 1/4 in to 61 in, close to twenty inches of extra surface. The leaf stores inside the table, so there is nothing to find room for in a closet between dinners.
Is the top solid wood or veneer?
Veneer, deliberately. CondeHouse selects a random-match veneer for rich grain variation and notes it is the best material for an extending top, and lighter than solid wood. The edge and legs are solid.
Where is it made?
At CondeHouse's own factory in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. The company has been there since 1968 and grows its Japanese oak and ash entirely in Hokkaido, planting trees in the region since 2000.
