Nova Sea Arm Chair

Fishing nets hauled out of service make up 96% of the shell on ARDE's stackable armchair for Mater.

Danish design studio ARDE gave the Nova Sea Armchair its flowing shell and light contrasting frame; Mater and cleantech recycler Plastix supply the material — recycled ocean-recovered fishnets, remolded into durable seating. Armrests add dining-length comfort, and the chair is designed for disassembly so shell and steel can each be recycled again.
