Oak Spindle Bed
Inspired by the traditional spinning wheel, the headboard's perfectly aligned spokes turn structure into quiet ornament.
The Spindle Bed from Ethnicraft is built in Serbia from solid European oak with a hardwax oil finish or varnished black, its slightly tapered legs and rounded edges softening the architectural frame. Wooden bed slats are included, and matching Spindle bedside tables, dressers, and benches complete the collection; a reclaimed teak version is available separately.

Common Questions
Do I need a box spring with the Spindle Bed?
No. Wooden slats are included and support the mattress directly — a standard queen (60 by 80 inch) or king (76 by 80 inch) mattress completes the bed.
What finishes does the Spindle Bed come in?
This version comes in solid oak with a natural hardwax oil finish or varnished black; Ethnicraft also makes the Spindle Bed in a separate reclaimed teak edition with its own weathered character.
How do I care for the oak frame?
Dust with a dry cloth. For spills, wipe with a damp cloth and natural soap in the direction of the grain, then dry — avoid detergents and chemical cleaners on the finished surface.
