Ocean Lounge Chair

Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel drew this low outdoor lounger in 1955; Mater now casts its slats from recovered ocean waste plastic.

Part of the reimagined Ocean Collection from Danish B Corp Mater, the lounge chair pairs recycled ocean waste plastic and recycled polypropylene slats with a partly recycled steel frame in a gunmetal powder coat. Its relaxed, low-slung angle suits poolsides, gardens, and long afternoons; the whole piece is designed for disassembly so each material can be recycled again.
