Oppi Table Lamp

Terra Labs began with a simple idea: make home lighting feel warmer, calmer, and more human. Founded in a small Southern California garage, the brand was born when its founder couldn’t find a table lamp that truly softened a space. Using 3D printing and leftover lamp parts, Terra Labs started designing modern, minimalist lamps that prioritize comfort over glare and atmosphere over excess. Today, the brand continues to create design-forward lighting meant to slow things down—bringing warmth, balance, and quiet presence into everyday interiors.

At the core of Terra Labs is a thoughtful approach to sustainable design and modern furniture innovation. Each piece is made to order in California using low-energy 3D printing and plant-based or recycled PLA, a renewable material derived from sources like corn or beet. Simple geometric forms allow for easy repair, modularity, and long product life, supporting a right-to-repair philosophy and responsible end-of-life recycling. With minimal waste, on-demand production, and an eye toward future at-home 3D printing, Terra Labs is quietly redefining what eco-friendly lighting and circular production can look like—one cozy space at a time.

The Oppi table lamp features a unique double layer design that is made possible by manipulating the opaque and transparent characteristics of the material.

The design takes inspiration from both Doric columns and Chinese lanterns, resulting in a opaque lower section and clear upper section that accentuates the space between the inner and outer layers.
