Benoit Loos and Philippe Delaisse founded Ethnicraft in Antwerp more than 30 years ago. It makes solid oak and teak furniture in its own factories, and its Re-Loved programme refurbishes pieces for a second life.

PI Sideboard
Push a door and the oak face swings open — storage in three widths, each hand-finished to order of nature.
The PI Sideboard carries Ethnicraft's polished-imperfect language into the dining room: solid oak with a hardwax oil finish, made in Serbia, with handle-free push-open doors. Three widths offer two, three, or four doors, and a dark brown tainted teak edition is also produced.

Common Questions
Which PI Sideboard width should I choose?
All three are 32.5 inches tall and 17.5 inches deep; pick by wall length — 47 inches with two doors for compact rooms, up to 90.5 inches with four doors for large dining walls.
How do the doors work without handles?
They are push-open: press the front panel and it releases. The mechanism keeps the hand-finished wood face completely uninterrupted.
Will the oak surface change over time?
Gently — oiled oak warms slightly with light exposure and can be refreshed with hardwax oil, so the sideboard ages rather than wears.
