Tala was founded in 2015 by three Edinburgh University friends. Its London team designs and engineers its LED lighting in-house, in aluminium and brass rather than plastic, and builds it to be durable and repairable.

Poise Adjustable Floor Lamp
A telescoping stem holds a sculptural LED bulb exactly where you set it, on a weighted base finished in Brass or Graphite.
Defined by its telescopic design, smooth height control, and slender form, Poise is finished in Brass or Graphite, detailed on the neck, base, and clutch. Tala is a London lighting company and a certified B Corporation (certified March 2023) — every design is engineered in-house around long-life, low-energy LEDs. Common Questions
Is the bulb included?
No — this is the fixture alone, with a standard E26 socket. It is designed to pair with Tala's sculptural LED bulbs, which are sold separately so you can choose the shape.
How is it controlled?
An integrated dimmer control lets you take the light from full brightness down to a warm evening glow without a wall dimmer.
Why does the light look so warm?
Tala LEDs run at CRI 95+ with warm color temperatures — many with Dim to Warm, which drifts toward candlelight as you dim — so skin tones and materials read the way they do at golden hour.
