Paul Newman founded Case in 2005. Matthew Hilton and Terence Woodgate, both Royal Designers for Industry, have designed for it since the first collection, and it reissues Robin Day's 1964 Forum sofa with the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation.

Purlin Rug
London's rooflines, translated into a half-drop repeat of bars and blocks by weaver Eleanor Pritchard.
The Purlin Rug takes its name from the horizontal beams of traditional roof structures, a nod to the city skyline Pritchard works beneath. Designed in London for Case and handwoven in India, it comes as a flat weave in 100% recycled PET (rPET) or as a hand-tufted 100% wool version with a denser pile for softer rooms.

The flat weave is 100% rPET — low-profile, hard-wearing, best for high-traffic rooms. The hand-tufted version is 100% wool with a fuller pile for warmth and softness underfoot.
How do I clean the Purlin Rug?
Vacuum regularly and blot spills immediately without rubbing. Skip bleach-based stain removers and have it professionally steam cleaned when it needs a full refresh.
