Quad-Space Bar Stool
A Teflon-and-stainless bearing lets this bar stool's seat rotate with almost no friction — and no upkeep.
Terence Woodgate designed the Quad-Space Stool with engineer John Barnard, pairing a stripped-back stainless steel frame with a leather-upholstered, injection-molded foam seat. The bar version raises the same engineering to a 30.2-inch seat, weighing just 9.4 pounds — modernist precision from the Case Furniture range.

Common Questions
What counter height does it suit?
Bar height — the 30.2-inch seat pairs with 41–43-inch surfaces such as bar tables and raised home bars. For a standard 36-inch kitchen counter, use the 26.2-inch Quad-Space Counter Stool.
How durable is the rotating mechanism?
Very — rotation runs on a Teflon (PTFE) and stainless steel bearing designed for low friction, minimal maintenance, and high durability. Nothing to tighten, oil, or replace in normal use.
How do I care for the leather seat?
Wipe with a damp, soft, lint-free cloth and dry. Avoid wax polishes and ammonia-based cleaners, which can damage the leather's finish.
