Alain van Havre's PI Coat Stand for Ethnicraft stands 72.5 inches tall on a compact 19.5-inch footprint, hand-finished in the collection's polished-imperfect approach. It is offered in solid oak with a hardwax oil finish, made in Serbia, or dark brown tainted mahogany with varnish, made in Indonesia.

Is the PI Coat Stand stable when loaded?
Yes — the solid wood build and 19.5-inch base keep it planted under everyday loads; distribute heavy coats around the branches rather than all on one side.
How much floor space does it need?
Just a 19.5-inch square — it slots into entry corners and beside doorways where wall-mounted racks will not work.
Oak or mahogany?
Oak is lighter in tone with a matte oiled surface; the mahogany is deep brown and varnished. Both are hand-finished, so each stand is subtly unique.
