Rosendahl RA Multi Purpose

A chef who cooked for the Danish royal family helped set the specification for these kitchen pieces.

Rosendahl developed the RÅ series with Jesper Vollmer and Annette Heick: textiles in 100% cotton with leather trim and jeanswear stitching, boards and utensils in thermo ash, and steel where it earns its place. The pot holders are insulated and rated to 428°F; the apron carries reinforced pockets and a strap for a tea towel. Rosendahl Design Group is a Certified B Corp.

How heat-resistant are the pot holders?
Rated to 428°F. They are insulated with polyester filling under 100% cotton, with leather trim and jeanswear stitching at the edges where the wear happens.

What is thermo ash?
Ash that has been heat-treated rather than chemically treated, which stabilizes the wood and darkens it. Rosendahl uses it for the RÅ boards, utensils, and condiment caddy.

Can the textiles go in the washing machine?
Yes — they are 100% cotton. The leather details prefer a cooler cycle and air drying, which also keeps the jeanswear stitching from puckering.
