Serene Jar
Saif Faisal designed the Serene jars for WOUD in solid natural sandstone: two lidded cylinders, one low and one tall, made to stand together as a pair.
Grey sandstone is pale and even; Rainbow sandstone carries bands of warm brown that differ from jar to jar. The Low jar is 5.1 in across, the Tall jar 3.9 in and more than twice the height, so the two read as a pair on a shelf or vanity. Made in India for the Danish design house WOUD.

Common Questions
Will my jar look exactly like the photos?
Not exactly. Serene is solid natural sandstone, and WOUD notes that no two natural stone surfaces are the same, so tone and banding vary from jar to jar, most visibly in Rainbow sandstone. Treat the photos as a guide.
Are the Low and Tall jars sold as a set?
No. Each listing is one jar, so you can pair a Low with a Tall in the same stone or mix Grey and Rainbow. WOUD designed the two heights to sit together as a pair.
How do I clean a sandstone jar?
Dust it, or wipe it with a clean damp cloth and dry it straight away. WOUD advises against detergents and other chemicals on natural stone, and acidic liquids such as juice or wine can etch the surface.
