Sienna Queen Platform Bed

Beveled edges, a low platform, and a solid bamboo slat deck that makes a box spring unnecessary.

The Sienna reads quiet and horizontal, its caramelized tone drawn out of the bamboo by heat and pressure rather than stain. Greenington builds it from 100% solid Moso bamboo — a grass that reaches full maturity in under five years — and joins it with metal-to-metal hardware that survives a move. It sits alongside the matching chest and nightstand in our Greenington collection.

Common Questions

Do I need a box spring with the Sienna Platform Bed?
No. A solid bamboo European slat system carries the mattress directly and lets air move underneath it, so no box spring or foundation is required.

Is the caramelized color a stain?
No. Greenington darkens the bamboo's own sugars with heat and pressure, so the tone runs through the material rather than sitting on the surface. Grain and shade vary from piece to piece.

How do I care for bamboo furniture?
Keep indoor humidity between 40 and 55 percent to limit checking, wipe spills promptly with a soft damp cloth, and skip wax, polish, and abrasive cleaners.
