Paul Newman founded Case in 2005. Matthew Hilton and Terence Woodgate, both Royal Designers for Industry, have designed for it since the first collection, and it reissues Robin Day's 1964 Forum sofa with the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation.

Matthew Hilton designed the Solas series for Case Furniture around the materials yachts are built with, and the bar table is its social anchor — a 57.3-inch slatted teak top at standing height. It runs an outdoor bar or high dining setup that stays out all year.

Four seated comfortably — allow roughly 24 inches of table edge per person on the 57.3-inch top, typically with Solas Bar Stools two per side. Standing, it hosts more for drinks.

Does it require assembly?
Yes, straightforward assembly with the included instructions. Once built, the stainless steel frame is rigid and the table is meant to remain in place outdoors year-round.

How does the teak age outside?
It shifts from a rich golden tone to silver-grey with sun and weathering — a natural change, not a defect. Seasonal cleaning with mild detergent slows it; teak cleaners can reverse it.
