Solas Side Chair
Matthew Hilton pared the outdoor dining chair back to yacht-grade essentials: curved teak slats on a stainless steel frame.
The stackable Solas Side Chair is the simplest seat in Hilton's nautically inspired outdoor series for Case Furniture. Machined solid teak brings warmth and grip to the seat and back, while the stainless steel frame keeps it light enough to pull up wherever the meal happens.

Common Questions
Is the Solas Side Chair stackable?
Yes. The side chair stacks for compact storage, so a set of four or six can be cleared off a patio in minutes and stored in a small footprint over winter.
Can it live outdoors year-round?
Yes. Teak's high oil content and the stainless steel frame are both suited to permanent outdoor use. Expect the teak to weather from golden to silver-grey; clean it at least once a season.
Which Solas tables does it pair with?
It matches the Solas Cafe, Square, and Rectangular Tables, all dining height. The 38.6-inch Square Table seats four side chairs; the 76-inch Rectangular Table seats six to eight.
