The Spire stands 63.5 inches tall on a base small enough for an apartment entry. Greenington cuts it from solid Moso bamboo and develops the Amber tone through caramelization — heat, steam, and pressure, no chemicals and no stain — so the color runs through the material. How much floor space does the Spire need?
A 19.5-inch square, which is roughly the footprint of a dining chair. The three beams flare outward as they rise to 63.5 inches, so the hanging space is wider than the base.
Is the Amber color a stain?
No. Greenington caramelizes the bamboo's natural sugars using heat, steam, and pressure, without chemicals or stain, so the golden tone is the material's own color rather than a coating.
Where should I not put it?
