Spruce Planter

Overwatering stops being a problem when the excess collects somewhere you can simply tip out.

The Spruce carries the same concealed reservoir as the rest of Conifer's indoor planters: water drains clear of the roots and pours away over a sink. It is 3D-printed to order at the studio in East Vancouver from a matte plant-based composite, with production scrap sent on to the Alberni Makerspace rather than landfilled. Five sizes are measured across the top inner diameter — see the range in the Conifer Homewares collection.

Common Questions

Do I need to repot my plant?
No. Plants can be transplanted into the Spruce or left in their nursery pots and dropped straight in, which is the simpler route if you rotate plants between rooms.

Can the Spruce planter go outside?
Conifer specifies indoor use only. The plant-based composite is made for interior conditions, and the reservoir system assumes controlled watering rather than rain.
