Stedge Shelving
Solid oak shelves that appear to hang by a thread — Leonard Aldenhoff designed Stedge as an optical illusion.
A single black painted metal wire traces the wall while the shelves seem to float, giving storage the lightness of a line drawing. Each shelf is solid oak, made in Lithuania for the WOUD collection, and the system grows sideways with add-on shelves whenever your library does.

Common Questions
How much weight can each Stedge shelf hold?
Up to 22 lbs per shelf — enough for rows of hardcovers or stacked ceramics. The solid oak boards measure about 0.8 in at their thickest point.
Can I extend the Stedge system?
Yes. Add-on shelves extend the run sideways, and every shelf ships with both a long and a short top wire so you can match the height to your wall.
How does Stedge mount?
It fixes to the wall with the supplied wire always placed on the left side of the shelf. Choose the long wire for a 47.2 in drop or the short wire for 30.3 in.
