Tangent Table Lamp

An experimental study of tubes and proportion led German designer Frederik Kurzweg to this lamp of two meeting cylinders.

The slim tube carries the electrics; the wide one becomes the shade, capped with opal glass that throws soft, indirect light — switched off, the lamp reads as a single cylinder. Its saturated colorways bring graphic color to the WOUD lighting collection.
