Inspired by an experimental study with tubes and proportion, the Tangent Table Lamp is a clean and graphical design crafted by the upcoming German design talent, Frederik Kurzweg. Embodying the mathematical concept where a straight line touches a curve, the lamp features two steel tubes meeting at their tangential point, creating a striking visual effect. The small tube houses the electrics while the large tube serves as the lampshade. Topped with an opal glass shade, it diffuses a soft and pleasant indirect light when turned on, resembling a single cylindrical tube when switched off. Available in Forest Green, Cool Grey, and Desert Sand, the Tangent Table Lamp infuses distinctive colors and strong graphical expressions.
