Tiptoe LOU Bar Stool

A round oak seat 11.8 inches across, held at bar height on four powder-coated steel legs.

The bar version scales Armand Serafini's LOU vocabulary up to a 29.9 in seat while keeping the small footprint, so several stools line up under a counter without crowding. The seat is PEFC/FSC-certified solid oak from sustainably managed European forests, and the legs screw on and off, so the stool ships flat and separates into oak and steel at end of life. What counter height suits this stool?
Tiptoe specifies a bar table of 41 to 45 in for the 29.9 in seat. For a standard 36 in kitchen island, choose a lower counter stool instead — Tiptoe makes the LOU in a shorter height as well.

Is the seat triangular?
No. The seat is a round oak disc 11.8 in across. Tiptoe offers a choice of round or triangular footrest on the frame, which is where the triangle in the range appears.

How is it assembled?
The legs screw into the solid oak seat with the supplied screws in a few minutes. Everything unscrews again for transport or so the oak and steel can be recycled separately.
