Toro Table Lamp

Toro Table Lamp
Japanese stone lanterns lit the paths to temples; this one is hand-cut oak and printed polymer.
The Toro is the only design from Terra Labs that combines wood with printed parts — each dowel is cut from solid oak by hand and sanded smooth before assembly. The shade is PLA, a biopolymer from corn, sugar cane, and sugar beet, printed to order in California. It is also the tallest lamp in the range.

Common Questions
What is the wood?
Solid oak. Terra Labs cuts each dowel by hand and sands it to a smooth finish, which is why the Toro is the only lamp in the range with a visible natural material.
Where does the name come from?
Tōrō, the traditional Japanese stone lantern used to light temple paths and religious ceremonies. The stacked, tiered silhouette follows directly from it.
Will the oak need any care?
Keep it dry and dust it with a cloth. As with every lamp in the range, avoid excessive heat — which is also why only LED bulbs should be fitted.
