Type 75 Wall Mounted Lamp

Sir Kenneth Grange's Type 75, launched in 2004 and Anglepoise's best-selling task lamp, here comes with a color-matched Type Range wall bracket.

Grange, the industrial designer behind the InterCity 125 train, kept the Anglepoise essentials: aluminum arms and shade on constant-tension springs. The die-cast aluminum bracket has a slim profile and a broad back plate for stability. Run the cable to an outlet or hardwire it; the table base comes in the box too, for desk use.

Common Questions

Do I need an electrician to install it?
Not as supplied. It plugs into an outlet on a 98-inch cable, so you only fix the bracket to the wall. Hardwiring through the bracket is optional and a job for an electrician.

Is a bulb included?
Yes, a 6.5-watt LED bulb (600 lumens, 2700K) for the E26 lamp holder. Bulb weight affects the spring balance, so Anglepoise recommends replacements of 25 to 45 grams, up to 10 watts LED.

Can I use it as a desk lamp too?
Yes. Anglepoise ships its lamp-and-bracket sets with the table base too, so the same Type 75 can stand on a desk later. The bracket is color-matched to each finish.
