Unda Office Chair

Studio Segers designed the Unda office chair for Ethnicraft's 2026 collection, and it is tested to ANSI/BIFMA X5.1, the US standard for office seating.

The Unda office chair from Ethnicraft takes the piped, upholstered shell of the Unda dining chair and puts it on a black metal base for the desk. Two bases are offered: a five-star base on castors with a gas lift that adjusts the seat from 30.5 to 34.5 inches overall, and a fixed four-leg base on glides at a 19-inch seat height for meeting rooms. The flat-weave polyester upholstery is rated to 100,000 Martindale rubs, and the chair is made in Italy. Zigzag spring suspension in the seat keeps it comfortable through a working day.

The version with wheels is: a gas lift moves the whole chair between 30.5 and 34.5 inches overall. The version without wheels is fixed at a 19-inch seat height and is meant for meeting tables rather than desks.

No. Both versions arrive fully assembled; the wheeled chair comes with its castors fitted and the fixed-base chair with nylon glides, ready to roll out of the carton.
