Vertigo Nova Pendant
Thirty-two feet of cable, because a three-metre drop disappears in a stairwell or a double-height room.
This is the Vertigo Nova with an extended 10 m cable, specified for atriums, open stairwells, cathedral entries and loft conversions. Everything else is Constance Guisset's 2020 design: polyurethane ribbons laid by hand onto a fiberglass structure, with a dimmable LED behind a hand-blown sandblasted glass sphere. Assembled in France by Petite Friture with APF France Handicap. SIT Furniture Design Award, 2020.

Common Questions
When do I need the 10 m cable?
When the ceiling is above roughly 12 ft. The standard 3 m version stops short in stairwells, atriums and double-height rooms, leaving the shade floating too high to register.
Can the cable be shortened?
Excess cable is normally taken up at the canopy during installation. Have an electrician set the final drop so the canopy stays tidy and the shade lands at the height you want.
Which diameter suits a tall space?
Medium at 55.1 in or Large at 74.8 in. Vertigo works by filling volume, and a Small at 43.3 in tends to read as undersized once it is hung 20 ft up.
