Heller works with Massimo and Lella Vignelli, Mario Bellini, Sergio Asti and Frank Gehry. Its pieces sit in the permanent collections of MoMA, the Centre Pompidou and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and they're still made to be used every day, indoors and out.

Vignelli Bench
Lella and Massimo Vignelli designed this bench in 2005; today it comes in three lengths and sixteen colors.
The hollow polyethylene form is molded in the USA with recycled content, weighs 40 to 53 pounds depending on length, and takes a sand fill through a plug underneath for exposed sites. It works poolside, in entryways, on sport courts, or at a dining table. It anchors the Vignelli line in the Heller collection.

Common Questions
Which length should I choose?
The 48-inch bench suits entryways and bedroom ends; the 60- and 72-inch versions stretch along dining tables, pools, and courts. All three share the same 18-inch depth and height.
Can it stay by the pool year-round?
Yes. The recycled-content polyethylene is made for year-round outdoor use, and splashes drain right off. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth and a mild, bleach-free cleaner.
Does it need anchoring outdoors?
Only on exposed or windy sites. Remove the plug on the underside and add a sand fill; the hollow form already weighs 40 to 53 pounds empty.
