Heller works with Massimo and Lella Vignelli, Mario Bellini, Sergio Asti and Frank Gehry. Its pieces sit in the permanent collections of MoMA, the Centre Pompidou and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and they're still made to be used every day, indoors and out.

Vignelli Rocker
The last chair Lella and Massimo Vignelli ever designed is a rocker — first issued in 2014, now back in production.
Molded in the USA from linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) with recycled content, it rocks on a gentle arc, and the high armrests make sitting down and standing up easier. Core77 named it a Sustainability Honoree in 2023. It leads the Vignelli pieces in the Heller collection, with a matte finish in four colors.

Can it stay on a porch year-round?
Yes. The LLDPE body is made for indoor-outdoor use in all seasons — porches, patios, and sunrooms included. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth and a mild, bleach-free cleaner.
Is it stable in wind?
It weighs 34 pounds, which holds it steady on most porches. For exposed locations, Heller's installation instructions cover adding a sand fill for extra ballast.
