Week-End Bridge Armchair

The Week-End Bridge Armchair (also written Weekend) is the wider, lower-slung sibling in Petite Friture's Week-End collection, designed by Paris-based Studio BrichetZiegler and launched in 2017. Where the Week-End Chair is a precise dining piece, the Bridge is a true outdoor armchair — at L25.2 in × W24.4 in with a 15.7 in seat height, it's built for a long Sunday lunch or an afternoon paperback. The frame is laser-cut from a single recyclable aluminium sheet and folded into the collection's signature stripe-like slats, finished with a matte grained anti-UV powder coat in Black (RAL 9005), White (RAL 9016), Jade Green (RAL 6013) or Glass Green (RAL 6007). Manufactured in Europe under Petite Friture's B Corp certified operation (91.5/100, 2026).
Sold as a set of two. Each Bridge weighs 11 lb and stacks for off-season storage. Aluminium construction means it shrugs off rain, salt air and UV radiation without covers or annual oiling — leave it under the cypress trees through winter. CE and FCC certified, with a 5-year structural warranty. The VOC-free powder coat ages slowly and evenly; touch-up paint is available in matching RAL codes if a chip ever appears. Optional Week-End cushions in 100% solution-dyed acrylic (EN1021-1, BS 5852-1 (S4), and CA TB 117 fire-rated) are sold separately. At $1,230 for the pair, the Bridge is one of the few European outdoor armchairs of this design caliber that doesn't require a to-the-trade account to acquire.
