Whitebird Desk

Fifty inches of graphic-lined oak on soft round metal legs — a desk that works without looking like work.

The Whitebird Desk from Ethnicraft is built in Vietnam from solid oak with a varnish finish on black metal legs. Alain van Havre's play of opposing elements gives it a light, airy presence, with two push-open drawers keeping the front clean.

Common Questions

Is the Whitebird Desk deep enough for a monitor?
Its slim 16-inch depth suits laptops, writing, and compact setups — it is designed as a light console-desk rather than a full workstation.

How do the drawers open?
By push mechanism — tap the front and it releases — preserving the clean graphic lines of the facade.

Can it double as a console table?
Yes — the shallow depth and airy stance make it equally at home as an entry or hallway console when the workday ends.

Care Guide +

For regular dusting, use a dry cloth. For cleaning or in case of a spill, use a damp cloth and natural soap. Wipe in the direction of the grain. Do not use soap containing detergent or other chemicals. Dry with a soft clean cloth to prevent spotting.

We always recommend protecting surfaces with coasters, mousepads or placemats, as extreme and repetitive daily use or heat can damage the finish.
