WING Dining Side Chair
WING's side chair keeps the winged back of Kiyoshi Sadogawa's armchair and trims the arms to short half-arms.
Sadogawa drew the collection from a bird spreading its wings. CondeHouse forms the back to look generous while using as little wood as possible, shaves the arms and legs down to a fine taper and finishes the joints by hand at its factory in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. The cushioned seat is a removable cover, so the chair can be re-covered rather than replaced. Quick ship comes in walnut or Japanese cherry stained medium brown, each with greige or black leather; more in the CondeHouse collection.

Common Questions
How is the side chair different from the WING armchair?
It keeps the winged back but trims the arms to short half-arms, for a lighter, more modern look. It is 24 1/2 in wide, a quarter inch narrower than the armchair, with the same 17 1/2 in seat height.
Will it fit under my table?
The half-arms sit 25 1/2 in from the floor. Measure from the floor to the underside of your tabletop or apron: if that is higher than 25 1/2 in, the chair tucks in; if not, it stops at the arms.
Can the seat be re-covered later?
Yes. WING uses a removable seat cover, so the upholstery can be swapped for another fabric or leather without replacing the chair. Ask us at hello@comosum.co for swatches.
