Rombo Mat

Designed by STUDIO MLR, the Rombo Mat sits within WOUD's broader catalogue of contemporary Danish design. Studio MLR is a Berlin-based design practice working across textiles, lighting and furniture. The piece embodies WOUD's design philosophy: simple, functional, and pared back — without leaning on ornament or finish gimmicks. Rombo is characterised by its material composition. The durable blend of wool and jute creates a naturally robust surface, ideal for everyday use, making it a practical addition to hallways, entrances or next to the bed. The woven construction forms small, distinctive rhombi patterns, which give the series its name. At either end, straight lines frame the design, creating a subtle contrast between pattern and simplicity.

Constructed from off white/brown 65% wool, 35% jute pvc mesh backing.
