Nazanin Kamali molded a 3D plywood shell that swivels 360 degrees — one chair for the desk and the dining table alike.
The Ziba Chair pairs its contoured shell with an upholstered seat pad and a powder-coated aluminum base, built by Case Furniture for both residential and commercial use. Shell finishes in oak, walnut, or grey tones let it read warm at a dining table or crisp in a workspace.

Does it work as a desk chair?
Yes, with a caveat: the seat swivels 360 degrees for easy movement at a desk, but it sits at a fixed 17.7-inch dining height with no casters or height adjustment.
Is it comfortable for long dinners?
Yes. The 3D-molded shell is shaped to support the back, and the upholstered foam seat pad softens extended sitting — the pad is also interchangeable if you re-cover down the line.
How do I care for the shell?
Wipe with a damp, soft cloth along the grain and dry. The matte clear polyurethane lacquer is non-yellowing; avoid wax and ammonia-based products.
