Abel Set of 2 Dining Chairs in Solid Oak

Two dining chairs in solid oak, finished black, with clean lines and rounded edges that keep the frame from looking heavy.

Solid oak in a black finish, oiled rather than lacquered, which keeps the surface matte and lets it be refreshed later. Rounded edges and a 19.3-inch depth let the pair tuck close to a table without crowding a small dining room. Part of our Tikamoon collection, at home in a dining room, a kitchen, or standing in as a desk chair.

Common Questions

Is the price for one Abel chair or for both?
For both. Abel is sold and shipped as a set of two chairs at 899 dollars. The 18.9-inch width and 33.5-inch height in the specs describe a single chair, not the pair together.

Will the Abel chairs fit under a standard dining table?
In most cases. Each chair is 18.9 inches wide and 19.3 inches deep, a standard dining footprint, and the backrest tops out at 33.5 inches. Measure your table apron height so the seat clears when you push the chair in.

Do the Abel chairs have armrests?
No. The set is specified without arms, which is why each chair holds an 18.9-inch width and slides fully under a table between meals. That also makes two of them easier to line up along one side.
