Tala was founded in 2015 by three Edinburgh University friends. Its London team designs and engineers its LED lighting in-house, in aluminium and brass rather than plastic, and builds it to be durable and repairable.

Alumina Pendant
Spun aluminium pendants that scale from a single ceiling light to a nine-bulb cluster, always finished in Chalk.
Available as a Single, Triple, or Nine-light fixture in Chalk, bare for pairing with Tala's own sculptural LED bulbs or bundled with the matching Sphere V bulb. Is the bulb included?
Depends on the option you choose — Bare variants ship as the fixture alone with a standard E26 socket, designed to pair with Tala's sculptural LED bulbs sold separately; Sphere V variants ship as a complete set with the bulb already fitted.
Is it hardwired?
Yes — it installs to a ceiling junction box like any hardwired pendant, and the cord length can be adjusted at the canopy during installation to suit your ceiling height.
Why does the light look so warm?
Tala LEDs run at CRI 95+ with warm color temperatures — many with Dim to Warm, which drifts toward candlelight as you dim — so skin tones and materials read the way they do at golden hour.
