Arne Jacobsen Bankers Wall Clock, Large, Ø: 11.4

Arne Jacobsen Bankers Wall Clock, Large, Ø: 11.4
At 11.4 inches this is the wall-filling Bankers — black, and legible from the far side of a room.
Arne Jacobsen drew the Bankers dial around 1970 for Danmarks Nationalbank; it was his last clock design. Rosendahl Design Group produces the large version from the same drawings, with a domed mineral glass lens set into an aluminium case. Browse the full Arne Jacobsen Clocks range. Common Questions
Where should an 11.4 in clock hang?
On a wall it can own — above a sideboard, in an open-plan kitchen, or in a stairwell. Below about 10 ft of viewing distance the 8.3 in medium is usually the better proportion.
Is this the same clock the national bank used?
Same design. Jacobsen drew the Bankers face for Danmarks Nationalbank around 1970–71, and Rosendahl produces the domestic versions from those original drawings.
Does the black dial show the spiral?
Yes. The fine spiral marking the progression of time runs on both colorways — on the black dial it reads as a lighter line against the field.
