Baobab Accent Table
Named for the baobab — a tree that stores its own water and outlives everything around it. The proportions follow.
Resol Studio rotomoulds the base in MDPE, a process that produces a hollow, seamless, heavy-walled form with no welds or fasteners to fail outdoors. The black base that comes with the Black Marble top is 100% post-industrial recycled material, reclaimed from Resol's own production. On top sits a beveled HPL surface in one of three finishes. At 15.75 in across and 16.9 in high, this is the side-table scale: a drinks perch beside a lounge chair, or an extra seat when the room fills up. From Resol, made in Spain.

Common Questions
Is the HPL top weatherproof?
Yes. High-pressure laminate is specified for outdoor use here and paired with a UV-protected MDPE base, so the table handles sun and rain without sealing or refinishing.
Can it be used as a stool?
Resol designs the small Baobab to work either way — side table or occasional stool — which is why it is tested to ANSI/BIFMA X5.5 as well as the EN 581 outdoor furniture standards.
How does it clean up?
Rinse with clean water at moderate pressure, then wipe the HPL with a neutral detergent solution on a damp cloth if anything is still stuck. Dry thoroughly afterward.
