Barrow Pouf

Italian fabric over dense foam, in a soft cylinder that moves wherever the conversation goes.

Jacques Deneef designed the Barrow pouf for Ethnicraft as the collection's most flexible piece: two sizes, four Italian-fabric colorways, and enough structure from the high-density foam to double as real extra seating. Made in Poland, it slots in beside the Barrow sofa and lounge chair or stands alone.

Can you actually sit on the Barrow Pouf?
Yes. The high-density foam is firm enough for regular use as a guest seat — the small pouf sits at 15.5 inches, the large at 14 inches, both comfortable perching heights.

Which size should I choose?
The 15.5-inch pouf tucks beside chairs and works as a footrest; the 23.5-inch version reads more like a small ottoman and can hold a tray or seat an extra guest.

Do not wash upholstered items unless clearly indicated on the label attached. Removing the covers to machine or hand wash (even at a low temperature) may lighten the colour and shrink the fabric. Some items have an anti-stain treatment applied to the textile, if this is dry cleaned, the process will affect the anti-stain performance. Always pay close attention to the care symbols on the affixed label before dry cleaning.
