Asger Dining Chair - Oiled Beech
Asger Soelberg designed the Asger chair for Bent Hansen, shaping its seat and curved back so you can sit upright for dinner or lean back between courses.
Asger is the wooden dining chair in the Bent Hansen collection: a frame in oiled beech with short armrests that run into a gently curved backrest. The seat is solid wood, shaped rather than padded. Bent Hansen designed the seat and back to support you in different sitting positions. It is a chair for long meals, as settled at a kitchen table as in a dining room.

Common Questions
Will the armrests fit under my table?
The armrests sit 27.2 in (69 cm) above the floor. Measure from the floor to the underside of your tabletop or apron: if that is higher, the chair tucks in; if not, it will stop at the arms.
How do I look after the oiled wood?
Wipe it along the grain with a dry or well-wrung cloth. When the surface looks dry, Bent Hansen recommends a light sanding and a thin coat of furniture oil, wiped off after about two hours.
Can I return it?
No. The Asger chair is final sale and can't be returned or exchanged, so please check the dimensions first. Report any transit damage or defect within 48 hours of delivery.
