The beehive chair, airborne: Hive's woven cocoon hung from a string Soft Rope suspension.

This is Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen's Hive shell — handwoven, weather-resistant Cane-line Weave with air-circulating openings — rigged to hang from a strong rope rather than stand on a base. Cushions with an adjustable neck cushion are included, their QuickDry foam drying fast after rain. The floor-standing version is also in the Cane-line collection.

What do I hang it from?
A structural point that safely carries a seated adult plus the 31 lb chair — a pergola beam, porch joist, or rated ceiling anchor. The rope suspension is included.

Can it hang outside all year?
The Weave shell and Soft Rope are weather-resistant; bring the cushions in over winter or during long wet spells to keep the fabric at its best.

Are cushions included?
Yes — seat cushions and an adjustable neck cushion come with the chair, in outdoor fabrics over QuickDry foam that dries in about an hour.
