Portofino Chair
Named for the Ligurian harbour town, welded from galvanized steel wire in northern Spain.
The Portofino's frame is bent from steel drawn entirely from recycled sources, then powder-coated in a texturized matte finish that iSiMAR offers in 32 colors. It is certified to UNE-EN 581-1 and 581-2 and carries a C5H salt-spray classification, so it works indoors, outdoors, and in contract settings without a change of specification. What is the Portofino frame made from?
Galvanized steel wire from 100% recycled sources, recyclable again at end of life, under a texturized matte polyester powder coat formulated for exterior and intensive use.
Can it stay outside in winter?
Yes. The C5H salt-spray classification under ISO 12944 is the top corrosion class. iSiMAR's guarantee still excludes corrosion from use in maritime zones, so rinse salt off if you are on the coast.
Does it stack?
Yes. iSiMAR ships the Portofino four to a carton and 32 to a pallet, the densest pallet count in the range, which reflects how closely the frames nest.
