Paul Newman founded Case in 2005. Matthew Hilton and Terence Woodgate, both Royal Designers for Industry, have designed for it since the first collection, and it reissues Robin Day's 1964 Forum sofa with the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation.

The Cross Oval Coffee Table repurposes the sculpted leg detail of Matthew Hilton's Cross Extending Table beneath a chamfered, veneered top for Case. At 15.4 inches high it keeps sightlines open across a seating area, and the clear polyurethane lacquer makes upkeep a wipe-down. Built in Lithuania.
