Benoit Loos and Philippe Delaisse founded Ethnicraft in Antwerp more than 30 years ago. It makes solid oak and teak furniture in its own factories, and its Re-Loved programme refurbishes pieces for a second life.

Dunes Rug
Hand-spun local wool, knotted in the Persian technique, piled loose and deep like windswept sand.
Each Dunes rug is made in Pakistan in collaboration with Ashtari Carpets for Ethnicraft, hand-knotted from 100% locally sourced, hand-spun sheep wool. The high-pile finish lands somewhere between casual and quietly luxurious, in Sand or Cumin across two sizes.

Common Questions
Will the Dunes Rug shed or vary in texture?
Some initial shedding is normal for hand-spun, high-pile wool and settles with regular gentle vacuuming. Slight variations in knotting and tone are inherent to the hand-knotted Persian technique.
Which size suits my room?
The 6'6" x 9'10" fits under most sofas with front legs on, and the 8'2" x 11'6" carries a full living or dining zone.
