Paul Newman founded Case in 2005. Matthew Hilton and Terence Woodgate, both Royal Designers for Industry, have designed for it since the first collection, and it reissues Robin Day's 1964 Forum sofa with the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation.

Ella Lounge Chair
Wings that reach around the sitter earned Matthew Hilton's lounge chair a German Design Award.
Ella's distinctive winged back creates a sense of enclosure without visual weight — a form Hilton refined from long-established lounge chair archetypes for Case Furniture. Upholstery comes in soft bouclé or Ultrasuede, a partially plant-based suede alternative, over a wood composite or steel base.
