Danish households have been rearranging Børge Mogensen’s “building furniture” since the early 1950s — a shelving system combined in endless ways.
The A152 is the mid-height unit of that system: solid oak, nature lacquered, 48 inches wide, with shelves that move as your storage does. Mogensen founded the design studio at FDB Møbler, the Danish cooperative, in 1942, and kept developing this system for the rest of his career. The oak is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified, and each shelf is tested to hold 44 lbs.

Does the A152 need to be anchored to the wall?
Yes — like the other units in the series, the A152 should be secured to the wall to prevent tipping, especially once the upper shelves are fully loaded.
Can I add more shelves later?
Yes — the A150 shelf is sold separately and fits the A152, A153, and A154 units, so you can add shelves or reposition them as your storage needs grow.
