Shelving tested to 44 lbs per shelf and backed by a 10-year warranty — the lowest unit in Mogensen’s modular oak system.

The A153 stops just under 37 inches high, leaving its solid oak top free for a lamp, a turntable, or a row of favorite objects. It belongs to the “building furniture” Børge Mogensen developed from the early 1950s for FDB Møbler, designed to be combined in endless ways as needs change. The oak is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified and nature lacquered.

Height is the only difference — the A153 stands 36.8 inches, the A152 44.7 inches, and the A154 63 inches. All three share the same 48-inch width and 10.2-inch depth.

Yes — FDB Møbler recommends anchoring the shelving units to the wall for stability, even at this lower height, particularly once the shelves are fully loaded.
