The designer Rasmus Appel presents his take on what a wooden display case should look like in a contemporary and simple design. Rasmus Appel, who trained as an industrial designer at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, is from Bornholm, and is inspired by the boat-building and the beautiful oak dinghies which are known for their fine proportions, construction and joints. The result is the display case Boderne, a simple piece of furniture that will grace any home. It also provides practical storage space with several different options with regard to both functionality and positioning.

Rasmus Appel is a Danish designer who brings fresh perspectives to traditional furniture forms. His work for FDB Møbler balances innovation with respect for the brand's heritage of accessible, democratic design.
