The shallowest cases in Koch’s system get their own base — a wide, slim oak plinth just 3.9 inches high.

Built to sit under floor-standing B98 stacks from FDB Møbler, this plinth is solid oak, nature lacquered, at 21.3 inches wide and 6.7 deep — proportioned for the wide, shallow book boxes. It raises the bottom case off the floor and gives the stack a deliberate footing.
