C35C Dining table - Black

Ten chairs fit around 86 inches of jet-black linoleum without crowding a single place setting.

The C35C is the longest table in the series Poul M. Volther designed for FDB Møbler in 1957 — a solid wood frame with slightly slanted legs under a black linoleum top, code 4023. Built for long dinners, it pairs naturally with FDB Møbler's classic dining chairs, and each frame shows oak's natural variation in grain and tone.

Common Questions

How many people does the C35C seat?
Ten, comfortably — the top runs 86.6 by 37.4 inches, the largest in the C35 series. For six seats choose the C35B; for four, the compact C35A.

Can it be extended further?
Yes — the large C35 extension leaf, sold separately in matching black linoleum, code 4023, is sized to the C35C's 37.4-inch span for dinners that outgrow even ten places.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
